This September our Sweet Waves 100% Kona Espresso scored a fantastic 93 from Coffee Review (click here to see the full review)! Sweet Waves is a combination of three roasts. These bring out sweetness, body, and delicious chocolate and nut flavors.

From Coffee Review (9/22) – “Evaluated as espresso. Richly sweet, crisply chocolaty. Dark chocolate, hazelnut, candy apple, orange zest, fresh-cut cedar in aroma and cup. Satiny-smooth mouthfeel; resonant, chocolaty finish with hazelnut undertones. In three parts milk, chocolate notes are amplified but remain in balance with hazelnut and cedar suggestions.”

Since Sweet Waves needs three roasts it is currently only available once a month. We roast Sweet Waves orders when we roast for our Coffee Club. We roast on the Second Sunday of the month. You don’t need to be a member of our Coffee Club to order Sweet Waves. It is, however, available through our Coffee Club at a discount. Sweet Waves is one of the best single-origin espressos anywhere. Our 100% Kona Espresso is a joy. Our main personal consumption of coffee is espresso drinks. This is what got us interested in roasting in the first place. Please give it a try!
